Thank you for considering Rents to find your new home. We have a constantly changing number of properties from Studios to 6 bedrooms. Firstly you need to decide which is right for you and they are divided into the following categories:
Studio
A self contained unit which has a bed-sitting room, separate kitchen and bathroom.
Flat/Apartment
A self contained unit which has lounge, kitchen, bathroom and separate bedroom/s. This will be in a building with other similar properties and it can be on any floor in the building.
Terraced house
Self contained house with properties adjoined at each side.
Duplex
Two story self contained property which start at 1st floor level.
Semi detached House
Two story self contained house which is adjoined on one side by another property.
Detached House
Two story self contained house which is not adjoined to any other property.
Town House
Three story self contained property.
Bungalow
Single story self contained property which can be either terraced, semi detached or detached.
When you view our property’s page, you will see that we have indicated what type of property they are, along with how many bedrooms they have and whether the Landlord will accept pets, children or smokers at the property.
We also state the rent per calendar month and the date the property will be available from.
If you see a property you wish to view please telephone us to make an appointment on 01473-711554 and we will arrange this for you.
If, after viewing the property, you decide to apply for it, you will be asked to pay an administration fee of £164.50 inc vat and also asked to complete a questionnaire. We will then proceed to take up references which would be employers, previous Landlords and a credit search. Subject to these being satisfactory we will then draw up the tenancy agreement which will be for a minimum of six months
On the day that your tenancy commences you will be asked to pay your first month’s rent in advance (this will be the date your rent will be due each month). You will also pay the security deposit which is equivalent to one month’s rent plus £100.00. The deposit will then be lodged in a Tenancy Deposit Scheme. We also meet you at the property to read through the inventory with you.
Along with paying the rent you are also responsible for the payment of council Tax, water rates, electric, gas or oil, telephone and TV licence.
